Our Roots

Gold N Gems Jewellers began as a franchise jewellery business in 1979, aiming to provide clients with beautiful jewellery that would last through the years. As the business developed and changed, offering a wide range of pieces, from rings to necklaces to bracelets and beyond; it consistently prioritized high quality materials. Overtime, the entire franchise gradually disappeared until only the original branch, our very own local store here in Burnaby, remained.

Dan, the head jeweller, began working at Gold N Gems doing wholesale and repairs in the workshop, a longtime goldsmith by trade. 15 years later, the mantle of Gold N Gems as a business was passed onto Dan and his wife, Helen.

As such, Gold N Gems has become a well loved neighborhood staple, attracting both local and new clients alike. Dan and Helen have been in the business for 40 years and running!

Our Jeweller

Diamonds and other gemstones are personally selected by Danny, who will happily show the stones to customers through a jeweler's magnifying glass, allowing customers to see every aspect of the stones.

Most of the new clients at Gold N Gems are referred to Danny by family and friends of satisfied customers — a tribute to the quality of service he and all his staff provide.
